On this album, Claus Poulsen is using a larger array of instruments and sound sources than usual and utilizes the environment of the place - the reverby room and playing on metal cabinets and metal objects lying around; in tandem with the elctronic setup: vinyl, tapes, digital workstation, controllers, synthesizer, processing and violin bowing a 7" too.
The live recording from October last year was all executed within the "Splinter Chamber" concept - splinter chamber is an old term for artists' workspace, the splinters being leftovers from sculptures etc. Cracks in the wall (also used for the cover) were the graphic partiture for the concert along with the general idea.
